Thank you. I'm running the latest InDesign version. Unfortunately (or maybe not?) I can't get the error back now. I tried to make the QR code four times earlier today with the same ,A result (I manually entered the phone number and checked that there were no other characters) – now it doesn't happen. Hello,
I want to create a QR code Business Card, and most of it works ok (except Norwegian characters Æ, Ø and Å, but that's another story). But for some weird reason ,A is added to the cell phone number. In the field for ordinary phone number it works ok.
Someone out there who knows why ,A shows up in cell phone number?

I had the same problem when saving a file in PDF format in Illustrator. Unchecking "Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities" got rid of it.

I actually tried that once, but it was an impossible task to get it right with menus containing up to 120 different dishes. 😄 InCopy did the trick.

Have not checked out Content Collector tools, but InCopy (also with strict application of styles) was the perfect solution to my problem. 🙂

Well, the menus may have up to 150 elements of different kinds. I checked out InCopy, as mentioned in the first reply, and that was exactly what I was looking for. 🙂 But thank you for helping!

Hello, I'm making menus for a customer. They have menus in several different formats, but with the same text content. I'm sure that there is a way to have a source document I can edit, and then prices and other text elements are automatically updated in the different menus – but I can't find out how. Can anyone point me in the right direction? (Copy/paste is one option, I know, but not ideal.) Thank you.

Thank you, that was quite useful to a problem I'm having – although it didn't solve it 100%. When I create a text and add a stroke to it, it's impossible to make the stroke outside the text unless I outline it (and I don't want to do that). And IF I do outline it and put a stroke in a different color on it, if the stroke is wide enough it covers the letters. I wasn't aware that I could make several strokes, so thanks for that. I fount that if I make one stroke on Type in the same color as the text, and then another stroke on Character in the actual color I need the strone to be in, it seems to look the way I want to. But this didn't use to be this difficult, and some part of me thinks that there is a more simple solution to my problem.
